Our leaders
We believe Christ has equipped every member of His body to carry out the work of ministry and to make disciples. There is not a special class of people who are more spiritual or holy than others by virtue of their position; nor has God called only "paid professionals" to minister. All are called to actively live out the gospel in all of life.
We do recognize, however, that there are some members of the body who are farther down the road in the development of their gifts - and who God thus calls to train and equip the body to minister, make disciples, and love the city.
We also believe that, according to the apostle Paul (Ephesians 4:11), God has uniquely gifted each person - be they an apostle, prophet, evangelist, shepherd, or teacher - to work together to mature the body into Christlikeness.
